This hostel is located in a 1930’s era mansion which has since been remodelled with the goal of offering maximum comfort on all levels, while staying true to the architectural roots of its’ time: high ceilings and spacious bedrooms tastefully decorated with colonial furniture.
Accommodations come completely equipped and number a total of 11, evenly distributed between 3 floors. Twin and double rooms are available, with a shared bathroom for the former and a private one for the latter, in addition to quadruple rooms with a shared bathroom and capacity for up to 6 people where the guests enjoy bunk bed style sleeping arrangements. All rooms have a balcony and are otherwise sunny and filled with natural light. Sheets and towels are provided.
The establishment is also pleased to offer common areas where the guest may stretch out and relax after a day of tourist activities and watch a bit of television or simply listen to some music. Additionally, there is a full kitchen which is directly connected to a warm and welcoming dining room/ parlour area, wonderfully illuminated and itself connected to the terrace where local-style barbecues are held. Hostel staff are on call, 24 hours a day, so as to assure the comfort of all guests. Breakfast is included and is served in the Takura Bar. Also, internet Wifi service is available in all areas of the hostel, as is baggage check, a safe for valuables, cable television, a video library and tourist information.
