4. How do I get to Buenos Aires city centre from Buenos Aires Ministro Pistarini "Ezeiza" International Airport?
There are two alternatives to get to central Buenos Aires from Ministro Pistarini International Airport , also known as "Ezeiza". The most popular option for individual travellers is by bus, operated by the "Manuel Tienda Leon" bus company. Buses run from Buenos Aires’ airports 24 hours a day, with departures every 30 minutes.. The ticket costs 29 pesos (US$10 approx)one way and 17.50 pesos (US$6 approx) return. In order to consult fares or reserve Manuel Tienda Leon bus tickets click here: http://www.tiendaleon.com.ar
The second option is the taxis or “remises”, that generally have a fixed price of 70 pesos (approximately US$25) which is the best option for 3 or 4 luggage-laden passengers. It is very important to ask the price before getting in and agreeing the fare with the driver to avoid any unpleasant "surprises" when paying on arrival in central Buenos Aires. The company “Manuel Tienda Leon” also operates a taxi service.

7. What exactly am I paying online?
The amount paid online is not the first night of your stay. This sum represents the BuenosAires30.com fee on the total booking, paid to secure the reservation, the US$1 booking fee, local VAT and agreements between the establishments and BuenosAires30.com. The balance for your stay is payable at the hotel upon arrival, as stated in your confirmation e-mail. This amount is calculated in relation to the original total number of nights you reserved. EnGrande blocks the hotel's online calendar for the room or apartment reserved from the moment the reservation is made until the arrival date.

8. Is the payment system secure?
Yes. The information you provide in the payment screen is VeriSign encrypted and is not made available to any outside sources, ever. SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS IMPORTANT TO US. All transactions occur in a secure site area using 'Secure Sockets Layer' (SSL) software from VeriSign to process orders. SSL encrypts the information you input on the site ensuring no third parties can intercept, read, or use the data. When making a reservation, we ask you to make a prepayment via our VeriSign 128-bit encrypted, secure webpage. You will then immediately receive the confirmation by e-mail containing details of the amount of your prepayment, address, telephone number and e-mail of the establishment you have booked, as well as the reservation dates. Upon the arrival at the establishment you must pay the remaining amount.

9. Can you send me a confirmation with the hotel address? I haven't received my confirmation e-mail yet.
When you have made payment via the secure VeriSign payment system, you receive a confirmation automatically of your reservation including the hotel address, e-mail and telephone number to your e-mail address. You can also access your confirmation and the hotel's contact details that you have reserved in the "My Reservation" section of our web page. All you need to do is enter your e-mail address and arrival date. If you can't access your details please contact us.

10. Is the neighbourhood safe?
In Buenos Aires, as in any big cosmopolitan city, you must exercise certain caution. The city has some areas that are usually safe, others where you should be careful and keep your eyes wide open and some others that you better avoid (and that you probably will, since there’s nothing touristy there to attract you). The touristy areas of Buenos Aires are usually safe. Just be smart and don’t look or act as an easy target! Take common-sense precautions: don’t carry your shiny, new camera dangling from your neck in plain view, don’t flaunt purses, cash or jewellery, always keep your bag in sight, be aware of pick-pockets or purse-snatchers.
Buenos Aires downtown, Puerto Madero, Palermo Hollywood, Belgrano, Recoleta, etc. are all charming areas and usually crowded. If you go to the older part of the city, like San Telmo (one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires) or Abasto (the neighbourhood of the famous tango singer Carlos Gardel) always keep to in the main streets.
Always be aware of your surroundings and follow the touristy routes. Buenos Aires is such a huge city that it’s not wise to just go out and ‘explore’. Be informed of the places you are going, take a map, don’t just jump on a bus without knowing its route (the distances are large in Buenos Aires, so you may end up really far away from the area you know). Taxis in Buenos Aires are a good and cheap option. The best thing to do is to call a taxi by phone (there are loads of companies available). Also try to get a rough price for the cost of your trip.

13. What happens if I do not show up at the establishment?
If you simply do not show up at the establishment (no-show), you will be charged a full 1 night & VAT for each room you have reserved, by the establishment, plus a US$20 processing fee by BuenosAires30.com. There will be no refund of the amount prepaid online.
BuenosAires30.com blocks the online calendar for the room or apartment reserved from the moment the reservation is made until the arrival date. If you make a late cancellation, or simply fail to show up, these room nights will go wasted, unsold. The room nights have been held for you, at your request. Now they will go unsold due to this no-show or late cancellation. The ¨amount already paid¨ (the amount pre-paid online) will not be refunded, and will be used to partially offset the loss incurred by BuenosAires30.com and the establishment.
